SwiftQB in Local Government

Applications packages provide standard reporting to meet statutory requirements but councils need more flexible reporting to handle ad hoc enquiries from other departments and the public. SwiftQB provides that flexibility at base and in the field.

SwiftQB is bringing another dimension to mobile working where it is being used in conjunction with mapping software to capture images and map co-ordinates of envirocrime on GPRS handheld devices. Information is processed and emailed back to case officers at base at five minute intervals.

SwiftQB has enabled this Local Authority to:

• Write back data from mobile devices according to their defined rules
• Combine queries from multiple databases to produce a single output
• Schedule automatic reports on findings at regular intervals
